Kingstonian v AFC Hornchurch at Kinsmeadow
Ryman League Premier Division
Danny Timms' report...
AFC Hornchurch lost their Ryman's Premier league match 2-1 against Kingstonian at The Stadium.
The Mighty Urchins took the lead after 15 minutes due to a penalty scored by Tommy Black.
After a great start to the season, Hornchurch couldnt keep their winning run alive.
The lead lasted only 6 minutes when Kingstonian equalised after a goal from Lodge.
Both teams created chances through out the game, but the game was finally put out of the Urchins reach as they saw themselves behind due to a goal on the verge of full time.
A dramatic display by the vistors proved to be vital when Wilson-Denis had placed the ball in the back of the net.
Jim Mcfarlane's side tried to clinch a point within the dying minutes of stoppage time but their efforts proved to be pointless.
The 3 points went to the away side after the game had a draw all over it.
The home side can only pick themselves up and get ready for their next game against Wealdstone on Monday. |
