The Rush Green Regeneration group won £50,000 after they were made finalists in ITV London's "Peoples Millions" competition.

They were competing for prize money with seven other groups across London who are also doing something positive to improve the local environment. They were shown on the ITV London local news on Thursday 27th November with viewers invited to vote for their project.

The Rush Green group want to turn five acres of disused land into allotments, a nature reserve and communal garden with seating.

Earlier on Thursday 13th November a crew from ITV London came down to Rush Green to film the area and the volunteers at work.
