Monday May 26th 2008 marked the start of a summer-full of music and performance courtesy of The Liberty, Romford and Time 107.5 - Liberty Live 2008!

The Liberty was buzzing over the first weekend in July as a whole host of bands perfomred on three stages across the shopping centre including the legendary Mungo Jerry on Saturday 5th July, and The Real Thing on Sunday 6th.

Over the weekend a number of the bands popped in to the Time studios in the tower above the Liberty Centre.

Thousands of fans came to the Liberty to see the bands on stage. Over 20 artists performed on the four stages. Other performers included The Shy:

As part of the music festival a Battle of the Bands competition was held at Musik Tek studios in Dagenham on 14/15th June. The winners, including Urban Reverb (below) performed during Liberty Live 2008.
